Weird bump on BB Panther chameleon?

My panther chameleon actually had this bump on his eye when I had bought him, but the guy said it will naturally flush out. Any thoughts? Should I take him to the vet? Thanks guys

I'm not an expert, but it looks harmless. Looks like a growth or skin tag. Now if it seems to get larger or effect the Chams normal activity, a vet check is deffinatly reccomended.

Hi Looks like your chameleon has debris in the turret. More than likely it is skin that was rubbed in from the last shed.

Give your chameleon lots of long showers. You may need a vet to remove it/.

Yeah it doesn't really seem to be affecting him that much, no weird eye twitching or anything of that sort. All he wants to do is be held haha it's awsome. He just sits there and wait to come out.

It shouldnt cause any harm but it does need to be dealt with.

there was a similar post to this about 2 weeks back, the person who posted the thread eventually used a q-tip to gently, very gently, massage the lump out of the eye (though it did look smaller than this one so I wouldn't try anything myself) and once it popped out it was a tiny lima bean looking thing. If you can find the thread maybe it will help you out a bit

i highly suggest not trying to rub it out as this is a much larger bump. i agree with long showers and misting to try to help him flush it out of his eye and if that does not help soon he ought to be taken to the vet as something does appear to be in there! if he cant flush it out himself the vet may need to remove it! the reason being it could eventually scratch your buddy's eye or possibly cause an infection in there if not dealt with.
