So i posted not too long ago that nacci had stopped eating the crickets which ive been feeding him so lately ive been feeding him hornworms and superworms. hes been eating everyday but he seems to be losing weight which led me to think he had parasites. i got a fecal exam done which came back negative for parasites but he isnt looking good at all hes gotten really skinny i dont know what else it could be?

Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about Nacci. I highly recommend a fecal check for parasites and it's probably a good idea to get a vet check up too.

i just got the results back today neg for parasites any idea what else it could be?

did you make sure it was a fresh sample for the fecal test?

It could be anything from old age to kidney failure to respiratory infection to just about any disease or husbandry issues.

Since the fecal came back negative, I think a vet visit is in order. Take him to the vet sooner rather than later. If they get too sick/weak, it is much harder to save them.

The next steps I would take would be blood work and x-rays.
