Pygmy chameleon

As some of u may know i rescued 2 pygmy chams the other day the male is skinny...And i find hes weak he cant hold on to me thay great... What can it be caused from?what can i do/give him to regain force?

Gee,Im really sorry to hear that...I would stay by his side,be his personal chamy nurse, monitor every moves he make...feed him if he can still eats...and search for the exotic chameleon vet doctor lives near you for a visit and pray for him to get better soon.

I definitely wouldn't be handling him, unless absolutely necessary. Handling him can put him under a lot of stress.

It could be a lot of different things, the lack of sufficient calcium, food, or the right gut loaded food. He could have parasites, or a bacterial infection. You really need to take him to a qualified vet so they can make a proper assessment. Good luck I'm hoping it turns out well.:)

i am new to ALL of this what can u gut load the bugs with? what calcium do i get? ill go get the stuff now if u tell me what to get thank you! i want him to live and be loved and get the care he needs!

I would feed small crickets, and winless fruit flies, nymph Dubai cockroaches. Gut load them with mustard greens, turnip greens, dandelion greens, fruits, some bee pollen, carrots. You will need a calcium with d3, and a calcium without d3, and a multivitamin. Here is a care sheet to tell you how to administer them. Good Luck
