Hi I was wondering if anyone could share some advice

My cham has been off his food for the last 3 weeks due to shedding and slowly getting his apetite back but he just seems weak... yesterday I attemtped to feed him some crickets but his tongue was too weak to take the bug from my fingers, it took him three attemps before I gave in and just put it on his branch and he maneged to eat it then.

Im worried his has a calcium defiency if so how do I aid him back to health?

Also he colouring has remained a dull dark green with brown strips for a while I dont know if this is just his colouring or his mood is down as he used to be a more lighter pastel gren with various stripes...

Any advice is welcome :(

Please answer the questions in the how to ask for help thread at the top of the health section.

If it is a calcium deficiency then you will need to correct the calcium levels first by giving liquid calcium Sandoz or gluconate and proper UVB lighting as well as proper supplements, proper feeding/gutloading of the insects and appropriate temperatures until the bones are strong again...then discontinue the liquid calcium while keeping the rest of what I listed above.

The insects should be dusted with a phos. free calcium at most feedings, phos. free calcium/D3 powder twice a month lightly and a vitamin powder that contains a beta carotene (prOfprmed) source of vitamin A twice a month.

Basking temperatures should be in the low 80's.

Crickets, roaches, locusts, superworms can be fed a wide range of greens such as dandelions, collards, endive, escarole, etc. and veggies such as carrots, sweet red pepper, sweet potato, squash, zucchini, etc.
