Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon*- The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? - Male veiled cham. Around 7-8 months. Had Leon since April 29th
Handling*- How often do you handle your chameleon? - every other day to let him get some sun and for showers.
Feeding*- What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule?
How are you gut-loading your feeders? Staple diet of crickets, throw in about 7 or 8 everyday. Not all eaten at night. Weekdays its at like 7 in the morning, weekends around 12. Also fed meal, wax, and super worms as treats every other day. Gotten a lil lazy on gutloading the past week or so. The thing I keep the crickets in when gutloading started to mold and I Cant find time to disinfect is thoroughly. Need to get on that. Gutload with fruits and other things I find around my kitchen.
Supplements*- What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? - Reg calcium w/o d3 every day. Multi vit and calcium with d3 every other week
Watering*- What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? - I have. A dripper and a big Hudson pump sprayer I mist his cage with like 4 times a day. Dont see him drinking cuz I usually just leave after I spray his cage. Sometimes he'll be up for a shower from the sprayer, other times he'll run away lol. Thats why I give him showers.
Fecal Description*- Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? Never been tested but his droppings are brown and white with the orange part. Pretty healthy poop.
History*- Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. Got him from a pet shop, didnt look the best when I took him in.
