It would be much better to go with a misting system. Waterfalls can get a lot of bacteria in them and aren't great for chameleons. I hand mist my chameleon but I'm hoping to upgrade to a MistKing system soon. Hope this helps!
Yes, majority of the forum members will advise against waterfalls. The poop, mold, mildew and suicidal insects will collect quickly and become a health risk. With baby chameleons it’s also a drowning risk. Even in those waterfall drinking stations that are supposed to keep out poop and bugs will have mildew buildup (and uses fake plant leaves that could become an impaction risk if eaten). So best to use what’s known to be safe
Still shopping for a misting system. Which of these below would you go with?or any other recommendations?for a baby veiled Chammy?in a 4x2x2 enclosure?thanks

A good amount of people here on the forum use mistking misters. From research, they seem to be durable and really good quality even though the price may be a little high. But most people on here would say that a mistking mister would be worth the money bc they’re high quality.
With the (most of) ones in pet stores, there seems to be a lot of breaking of parts and they aren’t really worth the money. You can find the mistking brand in the sponsors list as I’m pretty sure they are one of the sponsors of this forum. Hope this helps
