Hello 😁
I am wondering if it's possible to have too many plants in the enclosure?

Also, is schefflera okay with getting misted over two times a day? I found that she likes to dry out before watering and too much water can make her go bad.

Thanks!!

Yes and no... Depends on how overly dense it is and overall set up. They need branches in between so they can fully utilize the enclosure. Also you do not want it dense high in the cage where the plants will block the UVB lighting where the highest branch is. This can lead to MBD because the plants themselves reduce the UVI level of the area below them.

My schefflera lived in the concrete mixing tube catch basin of the misting system along with the pothos and hibiscus. It was fine living in 1" of water its whole life. no root rot in the pot.

Im all for having a "pet tree" and its hard to find the cham. As Beman said you dont want to block the uvb basking. And depending on your climate, too many plants + lots of misting = mold/fungus in the areas that dont dry out between mistings.
