I bought a waterfall and I now know its a problematic thing i dont wanna get into... BUT what if i kept it and just put a fogger in it? would there be any problems with that.

Devin, most people here would tell you dont keep it any where near your chameleon. I got a waterfall too, cuzz they looked cool, then i read what people had to say about the dangers of using the water fall in the inclosures.
Well to make a long story short I placed it right out side of the inclosure. It runns from when the lights com on for my cham to when they go off. I find it helps me maintain humidity. I havent goten the foger for it yet eather.
My Jacksond dosent go any where near it. he dosent drink or try to drink from it.( when i had it in the inclosuer.

so long as there is moisture that stands for any length of period of time, there is a chance that you will start to breed bacteria, and then increase the chance of URI or other icky things. No matter what the use of the fountain will be, you should consider cleanning and disinfecting it very frequently. every day or every other day.
I had one too and used to collect the water from my dripper. It got to be such a pain I just pulled it out all together. It is much easier now without it.
All things considered with all of the things that you need to do with keeping chams, the water fall aint worth the trouble.....It will look nicer on your desk.
Thats just my opinion...

forget the waterfall, just make sure you mist and put live plants inside your enclosure and you will be fine.

i've had a waterfall in with amigo now for a good few months and he's been fine with it and drinks from it often i clean it regularly as from all the threats of having one in there but it puts my mind to rest that he gets enough to drink in a day as he used to drink from my hand and he still would only problem is he's very bitey when he drinks and just nips my hand to hell so for me and amigo it seems like the better option.
