I notice today that my chameleon has been sitting under neath his water drippler and letting the water drip on his body or on his mouth is this normal for him?

well that would be him drinking...if he does it alot that means he is dehydrated....

Mine do that on occassion. I assume they like the extra moisture on their skin, or they're just too lazy or unconcerned to move elsewhere. Or maybe they just like the water mess Im then forced to mop up.
So long as it can breath, dont worry about it.
