here is a link of a test kit you can purchace to detect levels of floride in your water.

20 bucks is alot cheaper then a herp vet visit aswell as the cost of your chameleons life.

so, Brad Ramsey, you don't think that fluoride in the water is an issue for misting and 'water drip" when it comes to chameleons?

I don't know.

It has not been an issue here and I don't plan to change anything.

I know there have been issues with melleri and water quality,
I don't keep meller's.

And (as I stated) if I lived somewhere with poor water quality, I might do something different.

Thank you....I'll mull that around a bit...I might decide that the fluoride is something I am reluctant to subject them to...

I say again: if you are afraid of your tap water, you probably shouldn't be giving it to your animals (dogs, cats, chameleons).

However, as noted, even in my house there is disagreement. I happily drink tap water. Heck, I drink warm to hot tap water which everyone says is evil....

I guess it's sort of a crap shoot.....
