Water plants?

So theres a spot on the living wall in my enclosure that i nesd to fill, i can fit a 4" pot in there but since its right under the mist king nozzle it gets absolutely drenched, i can drill a hole in it to let it drain if i have to but either way the spot is going to get really wet. So my question is what plant should i put in there? I had kale there but it did not appreciate the water, other plants in there are money tree, golden pothos, snake plant, wandering jew. Also as a side note, how do you guys keep plants from getting over watered? The giant money tree is in a pot with a drain hole but here in alberta i have to keep my mistking going frequently to keep humidty up but thats resulting in my expensive money tree being always wet.

You can try to use a humidifier to keep up humidity but learn to use it correctly and not always. Also I would recommend a golden pothos

I have trays underneath but honestly just have a good drainage system I would say. Also just know that you can over water and that can lead to bacteria which isn’t good. Keep that in mind only have your mist king on for 2-4 minutes and only mist again until everything is fully dry

Cool setup! And I do love the pothos for being able to handle pretty much anything lol, but if that isn’t what you had in mind you can always use a different soil mixture with high drainage and charcoal to help prevent root rot and bacteria. Can I see your male? Is the top glass? The light looks small?

The front of the top and bottom is plexi glass, top and bottom of the enclosure is wire mesh though, that is rango at the top, are you refferring to the uvb? Cause ive wondered that myself was going to get one of the double bulb linear light hoods but is there such thing as too much uvb for them?

There is such a thing as too much UVB, overexposure is just as bad as underexposure.

I was talking about the length it’s just you should have either an Arcadia 6% or a t5ho linear uvb 5.0 that’s at least 24”
