Water drips

I am watching videos and stuff and I want to put in a water drip system in my cage but I want to make my own. I can set up the tubing but my question is when I run the water through the cage and into the funnel, whats the best way to clean and reuse the water so it does not become too costly?

Don't recycle the water. Fresh water only. It will pick up all sorts of nastiness as it moves through the cage and drains out. The costs you would spent on filter setups, replacing filter media, and water treatment far outweigh the cost of water itself.

Unless you run that left over water through disinfection or treatment filters you can't safely reuse it. You could collect the water and use it just as you would use greywater...for houseplants, to flush your toilet, in the garden.
