i got him a month ago and was told it was a 9 month old male ambilobe chameleon. The previous owner had him since the age of 3 months and only fed him 5 crickets a day. After doing some of my own research i concluded it was a female but idk if the age is correct, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The last picture was taken today

although I have a male, your chameleon looks really small to be anywhere near 9 months I would put it closer to 5 months which is weird from when you say the previous own had it since 3 months, how old and how big was it when they first got it? how long was it in their care? and i know not your care but 5 crix a day from previous owner at 3 months of age is very little amount mine at that age some days ate as many as 25 in one day

Definitely a female. Females are considerably smaller than males, so it is possible. She does look small though in the first pic for 9 months but if the owner says they had it for 3 months they should know how old it is.

yea that's what gets me, i mean i don't see why the previous owner would lie to me about her age
