Dont know if you guys saw the video or not. But I thought i'd post a warning for all my fellow cham forum vendors out in Cali. It seems some young punk has posted a vid on youtube about stealing geckos from one of the super shows out in Cali. He was even bragging about going to another upcoming show and grabbing some more! It was on fauna yesterday but I think it was taken down from the BOI. Just a warning to everyone Watch Your Stuff Closely! And good luck at the shows......;)

He has to be the biggest idiot ever. Wow, deffinitely vendors keep a close eye out for a theif at the shows!

If I ever catch anybody stealing anything from me or my friends I will promptly kick the #($* out of them, it takes a lot to piss me off, but stealing is one a red button item.

I am with you, as long as someone doesn't steal from me or lie to me I am ok, but that is my line in the sand.

Hey Chad, you should set up a video camera with a big sign in front of it...

I totally agree man. Wanted everyone poss to know and hopefully like Steve said he gets caught in the act. He needs to talk to a Judge and do a little time picking up trash on the highway or spend a nite in the graybar hotel.

That is a shame. Cameras dont really catch the thieves but it would be good idea if you could set up some efficiently with laptop or something like that.

...well, at least it will make them think twice before lifting anything, don't you think?

Wow, honestly stealing does not go through my mind when I am places like this but NOW I know why some vendors keep their animals and stuff under a net/tarp looking thing. I'm guessing it's to keep those sticky fingers away... I also hope he gets caught, he put up a video on youtube for crying out loud! He's bound to get caught.

time to start placing random fake reptiles at your display table with vid camera inside it. its a shame people will try to steal anything these days

I heard a crazy story this weekend about stealing... This person who several of us recognize who comes to the local LA shows confessed to a vendor about stealing from them...... multiple times. Theose ofus being told this story all knew who this person is, they're at all of the shows and EVERY TIME i've seen this person I've thought to myself 'I've seen them before at the other shows.....' But when you see the same people you sorta remember what they buy or what they keep because they normally talk to you at least once. This person, I never really knew much about them, just a smile and a wave. I never noticed anything missing on my tables. But, to steal and then confess... what is wrong with people? The vendor this person stole from said to never come near the booth or stores they own.

Some people must think it's a sport or something.
