Wants out!

Is it natural that my cham always wants out of his viv when he see's me???
He no's his exit point as he ventures from his perch at the top of the viv right down to the floor, then starts scratchin at the glass asif to say i want out!!!! Ive stopped lettin him out lately as my rooms pretty cold in comparison to his viv, not mention once he's out he usually changes his mind and wants straight back in haha
