Wanting r. Accuminatus or jacksonii merumontana

I can't help out much with finding a pair but I would suggest sticking with the jacksonii merumontana. R. acuminatus is now listed as Critically Endangered and will finally be clearly listed as CITES Appendix II species which means their ability to be imported for the pet trade will be greatly diminished. This is a huge win for the acuminatus as the limited number of animals that are currently in the wild need to stay there so that we don't drive them to extinction.

I thought one of the main goals of breeding a species would be to relieve the pressure of WC animals. If everyone who owns R. acuminatus stops working with them how does that help the species?

I would suggest getting a hold of Steve Mc Nary at Chameleons International and see if he can get some or knows what's up with them.
