Like what? Don't they treat them?

I heard from a person that said that they don't and that they are riddled with parasites

But you don't know what parasites?
Most parasites can be fairly easy to treat...you just have to be careful with treating them in a way that a heavy load of dead parasites in them doesn't overload the system.

Most imports do have some parasites and they should be checked and treated accordingly.

No one is currently being successful in Canada breeding Parson’s as far as I know. There are people trying though.
