verrucosus ?

You got it!!!!!

Female Furcifer verrucosus is right!!!!! isn't she beautiful. I am shocked by the number of colors she has.

I have been housing my verru's outside in up to 93f degree temps and they are thriving. I have not seen them happier or more vibrant.

ha ! After the oustaleti was away it could only be that. But the colors are really amazing ! I have never seen a verrucosus with such coloration

So if Benny guessed right, does that mean he wins and gets to take her home? :p

No, no I don't need those giant Furcifers with the high electricty bills ;) Maybe someday minor or campani :D

:D , Thats funny , I spend more keeping things cool for the montains. The furcifers are much less expensive for me. My air conditioner appreciates the ones who like the higher temps. :)

Yes, I understand the guys in the warmer states, I would also mainly keep chams which likes it warmer. But in Germany it's in my opinion too cold and also too cold for keeping those chams long times outdoors

Those are interesting (blanched?) colours for a verrucosus... are you sure she isnt heat stressed?

CAMPANI! Oh baby. I'd switch to Furcifer for those.

Have fun with your new arrival Ryan.

Cheers,

I have had her for over 6 months so she is not a new arrival. :D She is always these colors whether she is kept inside or out.

Trace,

Ha!, I was trying to figure out why you thought she was heat stressed. I said I have been keeping them outside up to 93f. When I was taking the pictures it was pretty early and no higher than about 73 outside. :) I should also mention they have a dripper that runs all day when they are outside and have plenty of shade to hide in. That would be 93f in the direct sunlight.

She will only show as white as she is when she is pissed. She does not like to be taken out and was more than happy to bite me during the shoot. The males are the same way a little more brownish until pissed then bright white background. I just can't get them angry they are really laid back.

The other female I have is green and brown like the males. Do you think there would be any chance she is F. v. semicristatus???
I can't find any pictures of females. Anyone have any pics?

Its the only way I can get her to show the red throat, she needs to be angry.
