Actually walking sticks are only male or female, but females do not need to mate to lay eggs. And if they lay eggs without mating then they only will be females. If you are using them for feeders feed them dark leafy greens like romaine lettuce, collard greens, or spinach. They normally eat bramble like privets and they also can eat ivy but these are all toxic to your chameleons. If you are feeding them the dark greens then they grow fairly slow. Their eggs are almost indestructible, they take around 4 months to hatch normally. They are illegal to buy and sell and can cause huge problems if they are not indigenous to your area.
