Waldo Passed Away.

Well, after almost two months of fighting illness, he has passed. This morning when I woke up, he was in his cage, hanging down from the branch(not dead yet). That's typically normal, as when I motioned him he gripped. So he must have passed as soon as I left, my dad had checked on him five minutes after I was gone. Well, after school, today was a half day my mom tells me he has passed. My dad took him down from the branch and laid him on the bottom of the cage. So he was hanging in there even after death. What a fighter! He had a big black spot on his left side and his tongue is hard and undulated out of his mouth. I want to find out what happened to him. I know there are some of you that do autopsies as a hobby, etc. Well, if there is anyone interested, I'd like for someone to perform one on him. Thanks again guys! I've been really grateful for all the help and advice that's been given to me over the years.

EDIT: Also, how should I handle him?

:( I am so sorry for your loss. When my cham died I positioned his body in a fetal position, wrapped him in a paper towel and put him inside a zip lock freezer bag and put him in the freezer. When I had the chance, I took him to the beach and buried him.

I am sorry for your loss. Loosing a family member is never easy but I hope that you find solace in knowing that he is in chameleon heaven smiling down on your for all of your care over the last few years and during his illness.
