Waiting for fed ex is a terrible waiting game. We gotta start teleporting these chams.....empty cage waiting

We gotta start teleporting these chams.....

We are still looking into a site sponsor for this. So far the logistics have not worked out and some new technology advances have not panned out exactly as promised. We will likely start with tele-feeders first to be sure that all the kinks are worked out. In the initial testing phase soft bodies worms were not able to handle the transformation and would end up at the destination as little gelatinous piles of goo. Although they did still offer the same nutritional value after independent testing and also offered great hydration benefits, their appearance was not appealing to the test subjects in @Brad 's secret lab. Dubia and Cricket subjects fared much better. They did seem a bit disorientated after reformation, but the effects seemed to only last a few minutes.

I suspect it will be some time until we are ready to test the process on live chameleons. Stay tuned for updates in the coming months.

If possible you may want to pick up at Fed Ex depot on your next shipped chameleon. I've done that ever since I read horror stories of the drivers throwing boxes in the air and catching them before delivering them. I have to drive about 25 miles each way but it saves them being in a non-temperature controlled truck and I end up getting the chameleon home sooner than if I had waited. Just an idea if that is an option for you.

Btw If anyone is looking to keep mist in or try and keep more humidity in i found using the window plastic for the winter is perfect for wrapping a cage, menards sells tall rolls of a thick very clear pvc roll that you can very easily cut to size, the double sided tape is clear and fits perfectly on the frame, just lay the pvc over and trim with a razor it looks beautiful and very clean. Lovin it, I'm re-doing Alfreda cage the same way this weekend
