Vision inhibiting bumps

Budreaux is a veiled chameleon given to me as a gift, along with his enclosure, supplies, etc. Recently, he has developed a bump on the front of his forehead, as well as one in front of each of his eyes. These are certainly interfering with his ability to accurately hit his targets at feeding time. I'm very concerned about him. What are these bumps, and how can I treat them?

hello there and welcome!. If you would could post a pic that would be helpful but from what I have seen on here the bump is usually an abcess having to do with the sinus'. Most likely you will have to take him to a vet and have the abcess cultured and then the proper antibiotic will have to be administered. Sorry you are starting off with a chameleon with problems!

I agree with Carol. That sounds like a sinus infection. You need to take your chameleon to a vet to get proper treatment.

Budreaux sounds Cajun to me...did you name him?
