Vines and Cages

I am going to be upgrading all 3 of my chameleons cages. But I am not happy with how their current vines and in their enclosures. The vines go all throughout, from top to bottom. But I use zip ties to connect the vines to the side of the cage. But my male is so big and there’s not room for him to walk to vine when it that’s close to the side.
i was wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to create a gap between the vine and the side of the cage so that the vine isn’t right up against the side?

See how the vine is attached to the cage with a zip tie. And it’s right up against the cage. I would like to figure something out so the vine is not up against the cage
