Hi!
Got my 2 months old vieled chameleon. And she is eating about 2-4 crickets a day. She is in a exoterra cage. The red circle is where im measuring the heat/humidity, and it is 80-90F upp there. Yellow circle is where her food is.And blue circle is the location where she ALWAYS is hanging in. Pretty much all day.She never goes up to the basking spot efter she´s eaten or anything. And she is quite brown in the color, not very green. What may be wrong? Im sitting about 6 feet away from her cage most of the days, and I know she is scared of me since I only have got her for a week. But im worried that she dosen´t bask and is changing her color.. :(

What do you guys think? 1371622_10200702390028924_1193936468_n.jpg

You might need more branches for her to move, it looks a little empty towards the center. Some highway branches for a faster going up and some hiden one to hide as well. Wont hurt to put the food a littke higher, at the end is she comfortable down there she would be back dow. just my 2 cents

Raise your food to at least middle high. temps may be a little warm at the top, as babies dehydrate A LOT quicker than older ones. you may want to start building a screen cage for her (18x18x36" female) (24x24x48" male).
