Video of ANGRY veiled

Thanks for the constructive advice guys. The the fella who said i was provoking him, your an idiot! Ide never cause undue stress to my lil man so keep ya comments to yaself! I was trying to get him on the branch!

Also to the fello who said i wanna hold him like he's a pet dog, can you read?? Did you not read me say that im not fussed about holding him, as i know their not the holding type of pets, but my main concerns were if he gets bigger he could be dangerous and right now he goes for me when i spray his viv! Also if he gets ill, i cant take him to a vet.

Some people dont realise that you can really p**s people off with ya throw away comments!!

But anyway, I will deffo try getting another plant and using it outside his viv an see if that helps. Im going to see if there are any real experienced veiled keepers close by to give a hand. Im fab at the care side, but im quite scared of him and have no courage lol.

Thanks peeps!

I didn't even watch your video but it saddens me to know that your chameleon is so upset and so stressed. Poor little guy. I would recommend getting him out of the cage and into a free range if at all possible. He will be a much happier and healthier chameleon.

LMAO!!!!! I never said YOU want to hold him like a pet dog. It was a general statement. Simmer down now, simmer down:rolleyes:

That is one nice looking Chameleon, you should definately keep him,

mine is the same, and is very territorial of his setup. If i put my hand in he will do two things puff up and slink off or confront me and lunge hiss etc, not quite as as much as yours though maybe,

I get mine out once every two weeks or so to check him over and when i clean the viv rightout,

I just pull his plant out when he is on it. when he is out he changes and is fine to hold? but only likes nice and slow movements, and he does not like hands above him etc, and always has one eye on me,

But you should not let that put you off him Imo as he is a very nice looking Veiled,

OMG you will never believe me when i tell you!!

I took some advice from the other peeps and i put a large plant next to his flex. After about 15 mins of thinking about it he climbed out and onto the plant. He sat there enjoying the new view for about 30 mins and i made my move. I (with gloves of course, im not stupid lol) put my hand near him and leaned the plant back into his flex. He didnt wanna go back in so he had no choice but to climb aboard. I NEARLY DIED!!

I held him whilst he was climbing up and down my arm for about 10 mins. This has never happened before. He was totally the same as yours, i had to move really slow and not put my hand above him. He didnt puff up once. He didnt wanna go back in LOL. Its deffo a territory thing with him.

Im so made up right now!! This is the first time ive held him sence he was 3 months old.

SERIOUSLY thanks guys, thats made my day!!
