Go face first! This is my baby faly Sniper eating a hornworm that was too big for him to use his tongue for. Sorry for the shaky/bad cinematography.
-Enjoy!
*I would not recomend feeding such a large size prey item to this size cham but I was supervising with a pair of tweezers and razorblade on hand, but still be advised this is not the greatest idea*

bet he enjoyed that treat.... and i bet he will leave a nice cage bottom treat for you in the next day or two ;)

Yeah I'm sure he will. He ate four good sized roaches earlier in the day too... I seriously don't know where he puts it all, but he's growing like a weed so good times!

You are either brave or dumb.:) I could never give my cham food that is almost as big as he is. I knew he had to get it down or you wouldn't have posted the video, but I sat here worrying for the little guy.

Sorry to say, the vid was cool, but you really took a risk there. He could easily of choked on that huge worm.

Yeah I knew there was a chance he could have had a problem with choking. I normally wouldn't do such a thing but that was the smallest worm I had left in my batch that was getting bigger(wanted to get him some variety till the next batch of hornworms) and I was supervising the whole time with a pair of tweezers, razor blade, and videocamera on hand. Plus hornworms are mainly water and kinda deflate like a ballon once the cham pops them. You guys are right though, thanks for the concern. I would not normally reccomend feeding such a huge prey item to that size cham. There definatly is a risk there.

I knew I was gonna catch some flak for posting that video...
but rightfully so. Keep up the good work guys!
