VIDEO: Four month old Faly wants love!

Here's my CH Nosy Flay Sniper tryin' to get jiggy with my Faly female. He's barely four months old! I guess the genetics that those chameleons have out in the wild tell them not to mess around! Enjoy!

P.S. He was removed from her right after I stopped the video and moved to another area on the deck. Ecoreef does not condone juvenile chameleon molestation and/or rape. Thank you.

Nice video, Sniper looks like he's got the moves, maybe just a little to soon. Glad to see your monitoring the situation. They grow so fast, he'll be wanting the car keys before you know it.

Lol my boy ranger did that when he was 4 months old.... And man that's cool but at the same time you have to think about the poor little girl... Yes you stop it but just a little heads up from my experience.... That visual sight of a male alone makes females turn receptive , make eggs and lay eggs all at a very young age I have seen a female that had seen a male at 5 months old do this and she died from the infertil egg laying process on her little non mature body.... Just something to think about man. It's your chams and you can do what you want.

Thanks man, I appreciate your knowledge. I'm always learning new things and I don't think I'll ever stop learning. That female is about 5 months old right now(42 grams as of Sunday) so I'll be sure not to do that again.

Thanks again,
-Alex

Everyone learns something new with these chams everyday.... Just make sure and keep a eye on her now sence she has seen a male.

Will do. This is my first Faly female. Do they usually start their receptive coloration just like ambilobes with the pinkish/peachish streak down the middle?
