Very worried now

i noticed my 1 and a half to two month old male veiled reptar this morning was holding his left eye closed he seemed to have no problem opening it and moving it and it looked fine when he did. I posted a thread in the health clinic another eye problem for help. I was advised to possibly check his feces at a vet for a parasite. Or which I was really hoping he may just have something caught in his eye. Someone else recommended a warm shower on one of his plants to possibly flush it out and as if he wanted it he came to catch drops while I sprayed warm water on one of his fake plants. I watched him get basically soaked under a few of the leaves and he seemed to love it. Now he is the disturbing part now he comes out to bask and I take another look at his eye and the part of the left eye closest to his right as if almost under his I bulges out and it looks like a pulse because it does this several times I took a a few mins to write this but Im beginning to be very worried.

Im going to try to get a picture to show you guys but becasue I already posted the one of him squinting in the other thread its saying I can't post it again here.

I only handle him maybe once a week or when i clean his cage and he never seems too upset about it he stays light green for the most part.

I probably feed him 8 to 12 crickets a day... but there are usually a couple dead ones or one still in the cage the next day... and we have him eating maybe two or three mealworms by hand every day.

weve used exoterra with d3 once in the month that weve had him we are looking into some without d3 to give him more regularly

I spray probably three times a day for about a min and a half. Ive seen him drinking everyday usually off the screen not the leaves just because there seems to be more of a collection.

urates are white and Ive noticed no change since weve had him.

for now were keeping him in a 16x 16x 20x reptibreeze until he gets a little bigger.\

were using an exoterra 5.0 uvb from over 7 in. and a 75w basking bulb fromabout about a foot and never directly on basking spot. Try to get most the light to flow through so as not to heat the whole cage.

over all temp during the day is usually about 70 to 75 his basking is about 80 to 85

humidity I try to keep between high forties and high sixties taken care of by spraying.

one small pothos on the ground until it too gets bigger and we will hang it.

cage location is probably the most high traffic area in the house... having said that... we have no traffic lnot near any vents or anything.

Im located in central wisconsin.

and problem was stated above.

this is his eye now when it bulges and its quite scary to watch. other than that his left eye looks exactly the same as the right when open! idk what is wrong.

damn now he is rubbing on branches and is looking slightly swollen... Id really appreciate any feedback I know I should take him to the vet but the nearest one is hours away and I wont be able to do it for at least a week if I can. I know I haven't had him long and this is my first cham but I really tried as hard as i could to give the little guy what he needs and thought I was doing really well.

yo I have all of that info in order in my first post I just dont have the questions before them. try reading my problem sorry if im upset.

You need a calcium without D3 to the use daily right away. It could be an eye infection and you should really go to a vet.

I will for sure if it doesn't stop in a couple days. I've already picked up some calcium without the d3 in between these two threads and hopefully that will be of help. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? he still ate today but noticeably less. and if I cannot find a vet within three hours drive am i going to have to rinse his eye with a saline solution by myself like I was told by another member?

OH YEAH and crazy thing is this happend in less than 24 hours we were taking pictures of him last night and he was fine even investigating the camera.

I think I remember seeing something similar to that and it turned out to be a sinus infection. At any rate, if it does not improve it will warrant a trip to the vet.

reptar is actually doing better today. that bulge I was worried about was because I had just gave him a warm shower and he was moistening his eyes. at least thats what my friend who raises chams said. He said all of his chams do it. he is using his eye more than yesterday but it still seems irritated... when i mist him he comes right over as if asking to be sprayed on his eye and when I do he calmly waits and then goes to rub his eye briefly. Hopefully I caught whatever it is in time and I can help him work it out of his eye. I will continue to give him warm showers a few times a day until its better or worse.
