Very short nails

My male Reptar has super short nails. It's difficult for him to climb the screen in his cage. On the other hand my female has super long nails. Is there anything I can do for my boy to get his nail growth up?

I'm not an expert, but famles have longer nails when receptive. Climbing on a screen makes their nails shorter.

I would say that is a good thing that he isn't climbing the screen, sometimes it can damage their nails and break them

Not that I know of, I don't believe there is anything that will specifically help them grow besides putting a barrier between the nails and the screen.

I have heard of people putting larger metal screening (something they can grasp onto) all throughout the inside of the cage. That way, your chameleon can climb where he wants without filing his nails down.

He still climbs on the screen alot and because he can't grasp it well he falls. I just don't want him getting hurt.

Buy some plastic hardware cloth and line the cage with it so he can grip it more easily. Females tend to have longer nails probably for digging.
