Very sad day today

As some of you may know, my sister has an 11 year old friend who has battled cancer for 6 years. She has been an inspiration to my sister and myself for her never ending strength, but most of all, her will to live and enjoy every moment. Sandy named 2 of my chameleons: Sparky my masoala and one of my baby veileds after herself, Sandy.
Today while having dinner with my sister, a friend of hers and my girlfriend, my sister received the news that we never wanted to her. Sandy passed away today at 8pm EST. only 11 years old, but with her life ripped away because of cancer. I can barely type because i cannot yet seem to grasp that my little angel has passed on.

Sandy, you will be greatly missed and you will forever hold a very important place in my heart. Thank you for teaching me the value of life. I love you Sandykins. Rest in peace

Awe, I am so very sorry for your loss. Life is just not fair somtimes. I know you will think of her always when you look at your two chameleoms she named for you. My heart goes out to you and especially Sandy's family.

very sorry for you and everyone close. i too remember your previous thread, im sure you are taking it hard, but know she is in a better place now and no longer in pain.
i think you did alot to make her happy and seemed to really care and im sure you ment alot to her and she will be looking down on you.

Thank you all.. Today its starting to sink in that my little angel is in a better place now.
Last night, over 400 people were in Sandy's house..most in the streets, all praying for her. Sandy touched the hearts of many people and will live through each of everyone she knew. My sister and myself miss her terribly and are doing all we can to help her family make enough money for a proper funeral as her mom is very poor.
