Hello on you to owning and Chamaeleon and I think she is approximately one year old giver take a couple of months I’ve been researching quite a bit on how to care for her something recently has changed about her skin and I’m not sure if it’s normal so I’m hoping to get answers here I’ve attached a photo of her I’m concerned about the white gray is spot on her side and the splotchy gray spot. Is this normal?

Also I’ve read that they don’t like to be held very often however it seems when I pull her out of her cage and gently rub her head she seems extremely relaxed and actually turns a very vibrant green is that normal? Is this OK?

That looks like a thermal burn to me. Can you post some pics of her enclosure, including the lights?

What type of heat lamp do you have and how close can your Chameleon get to it?
