okay thank you! Yes he isn’t closing his eyes but he does get in his sleeping position where he curls his tail upWelcome to the forum! Depending where you live they can sense the change of seasons and will go to their spot early. As long as he’s just getting comfy and not closing his eyes to sleep he’s good.
Sorry for awnsering so late I have his lights on for 12 hours a day and I only have his heat lamp on for 4 hours a day every day I give him calcium with out d3 and bee pollen and 2 to times a month a vitamin with d3 the uvb is t5 and its 6 inches away from branchHe is a bit young to start doing this. Can you give us some details on your husbandry just so we can make sure it is not husbandry related?
When do your lights turn on and off completely?
How much, how often, and what are you feeding him?
What supplements are you using and in what rotation?
What UVB type are you using and what is the distance from where it is on the top of the cage to the closest branches below it?
What are your cage temps at basking and ambient?
Please post a picture of his set up showing the entire enclosure and pics of the chameleon.
