Are all veileds heads or veil always a dry dead look? Or just some? Most pics i see of older veileds the area is brownish, any way around this or is that just nature?
Yup but I think she's saying that on the veilds casque the color is sort of coated by a gray and grayish vains cutting through the creases on some older veilds

Whuuuuut? when veiled males mature (maybe females too? Can't remember) they start to develop grey and black 'highlights' of sorts. It's normal. They aren't supposed to be glossy or anything
