If the eggs haven't sunken in and still look plump and happy, it shouldn't be a problem although I do like to keep the medium "damp" around eggs no matter the species.

Rule of thumb I've always used was to take a medicine dropper or medicine syringe, fill it with water, and then add a drop or too down the rows between the eggs.

If I have about an inch of substrate that the eggs are in, I will take my index finger and stick it in to the bottom of the substrate to feel if it is damp. Basically, that is what it's like beneath the eggs and I want to make sure its moist but not saturated. Don't want to drown them from beneath!

If they haven't turned to a hot mess in 2 months, you're probably doing everything alright. :) Don't stress yourself. Nature has been doing this for a long time and I am sure she doesn't have it what we could consider perfect all the time either.
