Straight to the point, I read that if the chameleon is eating this plant that it needs to be removed. That's correct right? What is the BEST plant that can be put in with a veiled that can also be eaten if your cham is ridiculous like mine.. I couldn't get him to touch veggies when I first got him but his first 10 seconds on his new plant and he takes a huge chunk out of it smh.

My female veileds have often stripped pothos plants of their leaves and never suffered any problems as a result of it...so I'm sure that a pothos plant is safe for them to ingest as long as it was well-washed both sides of the leaves before it was introduced to the cage.

Hibiscus is good. They love the flowers too! I also have a corn palm that Sayid climbs on but has never tried to eat.

ditto. My female panthers frequently eat pothos.

You can try hanging pieces of kale, dandelion, slivers of fruit and carrot shavings in amongst the pothos - might get it eating other stuff so the plant doesnt suffer too much

Ok I wasnt around yesterday so I couldnt check this thread. I was going to take the pothos out but what you are both saying is that it should be ok to be left there now. How long have your chameleons been eating their pothos?
