Veiled Colors?

I know veiled chameleons aren't normally as colorful as panthers but mine seems to stay a fairly consistent shade of brown\green\yellow. At the moment, there are only two green plants and some brownish vines in his cage and so I was wondering if I were to put some brightly colored plants in his cage, would he be able to match the bright colors of the new plants? I know the answer seems obvious but i've never actually seen a veiled any other colour than green or yellow, even on the internet.

No they don't change colors to match they're surroundings.. they can get some really nice yellows, oranges, And turquoise colors though.. I had a veiled who when it fired up was like turquoise and purplish.. but for the most part it's greens, browns, yellows, whites, and oranges..
