So I just watched my 3-4 month old male veiled chameleon throw up... He is acting normal, but is he ok? Why do y'all think he threw up?

Also I'm not sure if his poop is normal. His poop has been a mushy wet brown with a hard white part. The white part falls off of the brown.

he is in a 24"w,18"d, 3' tall mesh cage with the UVB bulb and a heat lamp in one corner. There is a golden pothos plant and a schefflera plant which have both been cleaned off. He will nibble on thoses every now and then. Besides that he will only eat crickets. I buy him the small crickets at petsmart and petco and gutload them.
He also has a dripper that drips onto a leaf and I mist multiple times a day.

I will attach a photo of the throw up..

One throw up(although I have never experienced it) might be ok, but if it continues, then you obviously have a problem. Parasites can cause vomiting, but not saying that is the case. I cannot speculate on why. As for the poop, white and brown is normal. Did the white part come out dry or is that how you found it? It does dry up pretty quickly as does the poop. I would just watch for further vomiting and if he keeps doing it, then get him to a vet. Bring the poop with to have it checked.

Thanks for your help! I'm thinking that my little guy may have just have ate to many crickets to fast. Usually he will eat 10-15 a day and I will put about 4 in at a time for him to hunt. Today I put 7 in at one time in a cup so he ate them one right after the other.. I'm assuming I should just let him hunt them so he can have space between eating them.

Also can you please tell me at what age I should start limiting how many crickets he can eat and how many? Right now I've read since he is young he should be allowed to eat as many as he wants.
