Veiled chameleon tail caught in door HELP!!

My juvi Veiled chameleon tail got caught in door when i feed him, I feel so bad, someone please help, His tail is bleeding on the last half inch where it got caught. Any over the counter meds/things i can use? Thanks for the help

You can use some regular Neosporin. Make sure it is the kind without the pain killers.

How much it is bleeding? If not bad the Neosporin should work but keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected.

Accidents happen, trust me I know! BUT, having said that if you feel your chameleon needs vet care please, PLEASE do not hesitate to take him in for a check. My motto is better safe than sorry as they can to downhill very fast! Good luck!
