Veild Cameleon not eating

Hello,

I have a 4 month male veild cameleon, named Bubba. I have been noticing Bubba hasn't been eating his crickets, and also he hasn't been active. He has been at the bottom of the cage for a couple of days now. He still has his pretty green color. So visually I can't tell is he is sick or not. The cage gets misted every hour for 30 seconds.

I"m a new owner to this cameleon, so I'm still learning about them.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a rookie like myself? Am I doing something wrong for him not to eat?

Please start a new thread, and provide full details, caging, diet, husbandry, etc. There is a Q&A sticky in the health forum that will provide us some detail to make an informed guess.

new to forum. we have a 7 month old veiled (Spok) who is not eating. (got him when he was about 2 weeks old) continuouly learning about the cham world and do not kow what to do here. he has a home made cage (we prefer to call it his condo) 4 ft high and 24wide and deep. plenyt of vines, dripper, mist regulary. he just stopped for about a week now. tale is fat. he drinks well.... even tried the silkworms. no interest. never ate veggies or hibisucs. use to love crix but not now. he is also very "hissy" - what to do -

Here is a form that will help us to identify what the problem may be.

* Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
* Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
* Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
* Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
* Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
* Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
* History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.


Cage Info:

* Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
* Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
* Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
* Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
* Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
* Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
* Location - Where are you geographically located?

i think its just to much misting since he still has his original colors he isnt stressed out but thats wat i think because my female doesnt like water on her
