Hey
So we just got this little guy about two weeks ago now
And he recently started getting dark spots all over his body whenever we get close and I think when we aren’t around either. He also just started climbing to the top and hanging upside down right under his uv light turning a grey color.
i know the spots are a sign of stress but I’m not sure why he could be stressed.
We did recently feed him different crickets that make noise and are more active.
We have a dripper and we mist him 2-4 times a day. He also did just shed today.
This is our first chameleon.

Could you show pic of the back of the cham hind feet? Should be a bump on the back of both hind feet if its s boy. That from here looks like girl. But to be 100% sure you have to check back of hind feet. Also how old?

I managed to get this photo
And they didn’t tell us how old so I’m not sure

We were keeping the crickets next to his enclosure and as I said they were noisy
But I moved them away from his cage to see if maybe their noise was the issue and he hasn’t spotted up real dark since then
But I’m not sure if that’s the main cause

Could he see the crickets?
