Veiled chameleon eyes

So my veiled has something stuck on its eye lid, and at first I couldn’t tell if it bothered him but I observed him and noticed he was trying to grab at his eye with one of his back legs. Attached are photos of his eye and I circled what’s on it

Welcome to the forums. I’m sorry to see that your chameleon has a problem with his eye. It looks like a bit of the inside of the eye sticking out. I would get an experienced chameleon vet to look at it. Where do you live? I might be able to recommend a good vet.

I don’t personally know of a good reptile vet in Indiana but here a list of vets that see reptiles. I’ll ask a friend that lives in Indiana, that use to have a chameleon and see who she used.
