veiled chameleon cycle?

in a post to me people were talking about the female vieled cycle???? can anyone please inform me about this?

With a virgin female who has not seen a male while sexually mature the cycle seems to be about 120 days. I can't tell you what it is when its mated/sees a male since I don't have any data on the hormone levels in that case....but I can tell you that it will be different.

My first female never set eyes on a male. She laid her first clutch at 14 months old and her second almost exactly 4 months later.

My latest clutch came from a female that was only five months old and she dropped over 30 good eggs. She was HUGE among her siblings, though. I wouldn't try that normally. If you are keeping them in screens, put them just close enough to see each other for periods. She'll let ya know via color and behavior!
