Veiled Cham leans while perching

This could just be nothing and how she likes to perch, but my veiled female tends to lean a lot while she's sitting on her perch or vine. Do any of your chams do this? It just struck me as odd and I want to make sure it's nothing to be alarmed about.

Being a first time Cham mama is much like being a first time mom in general! I'm constantly checking to make sure she's happy (resting b*tch face aside) :) and healthy and have a million and one questions I could ask! Haha

Is she under her basking light? My veiled flattens out and leans to one side to absorb all the heat possible when basking.

She appears to be basking. She is typically doing it when we walk into the room and she will stand up and move when we approach her. She did lean away from me once when we had her out roaming on one of our live plants.

All young chams do this...even some adults that really never settle in all the way. Just trying to stay out of sight....no worries.

I agree! Several of my chams like to lean to one side when they are basking. They do so so they can absorb more heat rays. Thanks for checking. I'll bet your a good cham-mom!
