Veiled Boogers

Perhaps I should have posted this in the health clinic but not worried with health. Earlier today when I hand feed my male (the usual). He got back in his cage on the basking branch. I noticed his mouth slightly open. With the door still open I hunched down a bit to get a better look. His body semi puffed and he blew out what appeared to be dust clouds from both nostrils. I examined him after he looked fine. The salt build up on the insides of both nostrils where now clear. I have seen my previous male do this but am unaware if this is normal?

Its normal for them to clear their system of salt by blowing it out of their noses...but some people say its due to dehydration. I don't know if its true or not. I have never had a problem with mine blowing salts out of their noses.
