veild chamele skin desaturated

I'm raising a chameleon, but the color of the chameleon's skin is slightly desaturated, so it looks whitish. Also, it's a bit of a dry skin condition without moisture. Why? Is it a UV problem or not enough vitamins or a hydration problem?

I am not good at English because English is not my mother tongue. sorry. The tone of words may be strange due to the use of a translator. Thank you for your understanding.

Welcome to the forum and the world of chameleons!

Don't worry about your English or if the words are strange…we’ll figure it out. We might have to ask questions to clarify what you mean at times though.

It looks like it might be shedding issues.

What supplements do you use and how often for each? I’m particularly looking for phos, calcium, D3 and the form of vitamin A.

Also, what UVB light are you using?is it the long linear type or the coiled or folded over type?
