Lately my veiled cham, 10 months old, acts a little strange...
First of all he does not eat as much as he used to eat. I had him out in the terrace from May, and got him inside before 10 days since temps dropped below 20°C. Since then, he almost stopped eating. While outside he ate 8-10 crickets per day, or 4-5 locusts. No, he barely eats 2-3 crickets per day...
Is this normal...?
Another strange thing I noticed today... While he was trying to sleep, his eyes were closed, but outside his skull. After he fell asleep, his eyes where leveled with his skull, like "sinking" inside. Tonight, while he is relaxing, before falling asleep, his eyes are popped out, however much further than they used to, even more than they are while he is awake!!!
Almost 4/5 of the eyeball is out of his skull, of course covered with his eyelids.
Is this wrong??? Should I do something?
Temps in the cage are 30°C in the morning, 20°C in the evening, and his basking spot is around 33-34°C. I have a dripper, dripping water all day long and I also spay the plants he has inside 2-3 times a day keeping moisture above 40%.
