Well. I have a female and male. Mary Jane and Reptar. REPTAR is still a juvie, but he's growing quick..anyways..I deffinately want to mate them once hes of age of consent ha..I've.read a lot of tips and info about it but so many different ways. I just wana make sure I do it right when I do. Should I get a bucket with the certain gravel? Or just keep the cage clean that she lays them in..also..do I introduce the male into the females cage for their first date? All info is appreciated..thanks.

Welcome to the forums. This is a great place to learn about chameleons. Your female can lay eggs without a male even being around. I would recommend you keep them out of sight of each other until you are ready to breed. Just the sight of a male can cause her to form an infertile clutch. I have a few links attached for you to get some good info about general care, females, egg laying, the laying bin and breeding.
