I have been using a 5.0 reptisun for 8months due to the fact I have a solar meter 6.2 I got one when I started using MVB's. I have to say i think it's a necessity for all reptile enthusiasts. It brings a level of comfort knowing that my reptiles are getting proper UVB. The cost is miniscule if you think about buying let's say a panther chameleon with cage branches etc...($350min) if your UVB light is putting out no UVB or too much UVB all that startup money is gone and your Cham passes away. I was lucky I got a meter from a forum member for $100 shipping included. I would post a wanted add to see if anyone has one because I know there are probably a lot of members who got the 6.5 by now and have the 6.2 laying around. I'll contact the member who I got mine from cause he said he had a few and ill PM you to let you know.

I am flattered I was mentioned here in this thread.

Solarmeter 6.2's ARE a very valuable tool in herp husbandry.
And I understand that they are expensive.
Especially now when everyone has tightened their belts, so to speak.

But I believe it is important to try to make this product as affordable as possible because the health and success of peoples pets are at stake.

Wow Todd!, that is a generous savings you are offering forum members.
I for one am definitely taking advantage of this, especially since bulbs I recently aquired I can't trust for accuracy, and I am looking to replace them. But im going to order this first, then purchase all my bulbs from you as well.
