UVB fluorescent Fixture question? To replace an arcadia for a reptsun

I have a fixture that held an arcadia euro range forest 5%+ UVB lamp (24"/600mm) 18 watt bulb.

I read that the Arcadia is a different size to the repti sun..

Is it possible for me to replace this Arcadia bulb with a Reptisun in the fixture it was in?
And is there much of a difference between the Repti Glo 5.0 and the Reptisun other than price?

Or maybe I should just buy the Arcadia? If so, which one exactly and where is the best place to purchase? Thanks!!

As long as length and wattage are the same and it is a T8 bulb and not a newer T5 bulb it will be fine. Stick with Arcadia though as they are much better than other brands.

Does it have to be a certain UVB %?

For example on the lightyourreptile they have a 2% UVB for a buy 2 get one free $50 sale. Would that work with a veiled chameleon?

Hi Happiness.:)
2% UVB is much too low UV for chams.

Please send me pictures of your cage(s) and so I can see what you have to work with and then I can suggest some good lighting options.
cell phone pics are fine.
Also let me know what kind of flo. light fixture you currently have. Look at the printed end of the bulb you are using now and tell me in your e/m how many watts its is.
:D
Thank you!
