UVB distance from screen

I recently purchase the reptisun 5.0 bulb and wondering the distance from the cage it should be...due to the lamp that i have it is resting from the screen(about 6 inches from his basking branch) is this too close?

On the screen is fine. Your Cham wont get burned from it, and thru the screen decreases the amt of uv he/she will get.
Outdoors uninhibited from mesh, chams get up to 10 times the amt of uv from the sun as they do thru their cage.
A reading on a uv meter of 28 to 40 is good.
A 5.0 will give you about 28 to 35 for up to/about 6 months, after that it starts to decline
